This is the age of sharing and accepting technology. The Indian market that was once unaccepting of simple concepts such as ATMs, e-commerce and internet banking is today moving forward with an open mindset. With social networking sites like Facebook and Skype catching up, people are today open to sharing their personal information, pictures and videos on the web. Girish Baliga, a serial entrepreneur sensed this change of mindsets and founded CareerVita, an innovative concept that is revolutionizing the entire process of recruitment. Baliga, Founder and CEO of CareerVita envisions transforming the recruitment process through his virtual interview platform, CV360.

Baliga, an industry veteran previously owned a company focused on the education industry. He soon realized that the traditional recruitment process was highly inefficient. "Companies spend large sums of money and time in the various rounds of recruiting. The efforts go futile most often as either people do not join or are not fit for the job," explains Baliga.

The need of the hour was a talent acquisition system that minimized the time and resources invested by organizations in recruiting. This led to the founding of CareerVita which lets people go through the entire recruiting process through their computer screens. Its ease of use enables managers to take care of the entire process from anywhere. All they require is an internet connection.

CV360: Simplifying Recruitment & Hiring

The sole aim of CareerVita is to leverage hiring solution through virtualization. Its CV360 Solution reduces the interview process to a few stages starting from virtual pre-screening, Technical round and finally the HR round. CV360 is a Platform which aims to connect job seekers with their hiring managers through video profiles thereby eliminating the sole dependence on paper-based resumes and assessments. The corporate set up a set of questions based on the nature of job and sends an email link to candidates. The candidates record their video which when completed; appear directly on the recruiter’s dashboard. The recruiter can review assess and share the video links with their peers or superiors involved in the selection process.
