Bhuvaneswar Naik is recently appointed as the Vice President, Human Resources for India, SAP AG. In this role, Naik will have strategic and operational responsibility of the people function. He will foster higher customer satisfaction through driving people strategy and process alignment across all SAP entities in India.

Naik has worked with SAP in the past as Head of Human Resources for SAP Labs India, and subsequently he assumed the role of Executive Assistant to the Extended Board at SAP AG and was the VP Global HR Shared Services. Naik brings over 17 years of human resources experience, of which 15 years have been in leadership roles in global organizations like SAP, Capgemini, Yahoo!, and Taj Group of Hotels. His most recent role was as Vice President - People Processes, India and Asia Pacific, Financial Services, GBU Capgemini. Prior to this, he was Director of Human Resources at Yahoo! India.

Naik believes, "Taking the risk to move out of the comfort zone and working hard to bring in innovation in the work process are the key factors behind a successful career." He also opines that a leader should have clarity in the thought process for the execution of the work.

Outside work, Naik loves watching movies and listening music. He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT, Calicut and an MA degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from TISS, Mumbai.
