Having a successful track record in various sales roles starting from managing global customers to driving and formulating strategy for SMB businesses, Arun Balasubramanian has now been chosen to don the role of Director of Sales at CA Technologies, South India and Sri Lanka. He will be responsible to drive CA’s business in South India and Sri Lanka. Balasubramanian brings with him about 13 years of industry experience.

Balasubramanian says, “I am excited to work towards strengthening CA’s sales growth in a market as dynamic as India.” Prior to this role, he was Regional Head of Sales for HP Software. He was responsible for driving exponential sales growth during his tenure as software lead for five years.

Balasubramanian believes that besides hard work and passion, it is also essential to build strong partnerships with different organizations to make a successful career. He also opines that a leader should demonstrate these traits in supporting the team to achieve the desired goals. With this belief, he advises the young techies to put in the right amount of passion and determination in the work they do.

Apart from work, the fitness freak Balasubramanian loves to do health related exercises and enjoys reading books and traveling. He is a graduate in computer engineering and also holds an executive management degree from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
