Tyagi joined Freescale Semiconductor India (earlier Motorola Semiconductor) in 1997. Until recently he was Regional Sales and Business Development Manager, where he was responsible for business development for Freescale products in embedded markets. Prior to Freescale, he worked with Philips Semiconductors. Tyagi feels that his greatest challenge is to meet the customer requirements and growing the different streams of services and products that the company has to offer.
Tyagi believes in the simple mantra of ‘working hard with passion and being focused’. He also believes in setting high standards for himself and the people around him. Being up front, transparent, and the ability to motivate and lead a team are his strengths. He also advises the upcoming techies to be focused in choosing their career path.
Balancing the work-life equation, Tyagi loves playing badminton, listening to music, and watching TV. He holds a bachelor degree in electronics and communication engineering from Mysore University and a PGCSM from the Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode.
