Headquartered in Walldorf, Germany, SAP AG (NYSE:SAP) is engaged in enterprise applications
in terms of software and software-related service revenue. The company currently has a marketcap of $98.23 Billion.

Enterprise mobility is transforming the way people consume IT, in-memory technology is simplifying the IT stack, and the cloud delivery of solutions is becoming the mainstream. On the other hand, the generation entering today's workforce expects to have the devices they want, and offering choice has become a key element in attracting the best talent in an increasingly competitive talent war. BYOD implementation is managed most smartly, obviously by IT companies for thousands of their employees located in different corners of the world. Driven by the Consumerization of IT and SAP's mobile-solution focus, SAP India has developed an entire mobile platform engaging employees with applications that enable them to be more productive anywhere. Similarly, Cloud operators are in the consumer space and not in the complete enterprise space. SAP is now focusing on fulfilling this gap with its Suite on cloud where a complete business for an organization can be run on Enterprise grade cloud.

Big data, cloud computing, mobility and social networking presents a significant market opportunity for SAP. Together with a partner ecosystem, we are helping customers to use new technologies to optimize business results and operate at optimum levels. Our SAP HANA platform enables innovative products and solutions across all of these markets. We foresee that SAP's momentum in certain market categories will be fueled by our strategy of innovation without disruption, co-innovation with vibrant ecosystem, and ability to orchestrate technology consistently across the enterprise.

Winning over Challenges with Innovation
The expectations have risen from CIOs in terms of identifying trends, introducing those trends into the company and driving adoption. A CIO needs to look for people who drive innovation and play an active role in building teams, investing in people skills and communicate within and outside the company about what IT is achieving. The challenge is not only to be on top of what is happening in the marketplace but also understand the expectations from a corporate perspective. Achieving operational excellence, driving the IT transformation through benchmarks and also ensuring that vendor portfolio, budget and everything else is on the right track are some of the issues CIOs have to address. Meeting the gap between consumer (devices), employees and corporate is becoming an important part of a CIO's role.
In the ever changing IT environment of present times, a CIO has to be an integral part of the business transformation and actively drive the agenda. Automation, geographic expansion and introducing new channels is not possible without IT. The IT person is challenged with translating an aggressive business target into action. It is also important for the CIO of an organization to be strategically innovative and drive the learning curve up for the organization. The team at SAP India strives to deliver innovation to customers with minimal disruption to their business operations. By leveraging a strong base in applications, analytics as well as new technology innovations, the organization offers an array of solutions that helps the customers achieve greater business value.
