Starting as a sales management trainee at HCL, Prashanth G. J. has come up a long way and has recently taken over as the Regional Director at Hitachi Data Systems. In his 14-year long career, Prashanth has had stints at HCL, HP, and NetApp. Prior to Hitachi, he served at NetApp as Regional Sales Manager, managing the company’s business in the southern region. In his new role, Prashanth will be responsible for building a scalable, successful, and fun-filled business model and organization. Adaptability and understanding people have been his strengths throughout his career. Further, being in sales has never stopped him from taking the extra effort to understand the technology he is supposed to sell.

Prashanth loves spending time with his kids. He also is a voracious reader and loves reading fiction, nonfiction, and management books whenever he finds time.
