IIMs are most certainly the first choice for most MBA aspirants in the country who are looking for a career ladder by gaining a postgraduate degree in management studies. The reason behind is the reputation that IIM as a brand has gained over the years by providing high quality teaching and ample environment for the research and innovations. Back in 2009, when we launched our first B-School survey by raising the question "What If Not IIMs?" less than 2000 students made it to IIMs while over 3.5 lakh students appeared for CAT. The idea behind the survey was to assist majority of the students in getting an idea about B-Schools in the country. The survey evaluated some of the best B-Schools in India excluding IIMs. In the consecutive years, we saw a considerable improvement in the quality of students coming out from B-Schools in the private sector.

Today, private management institutes like MDI, TAPMI and many more are placing their students with average packages of more than 12 Lakhs per annum, which is more than the average package received by the students from IIMs located in Ranchi, Raipur and Trichy. While looking at the performance of many private B-Schools in the country, it is evident that they are not far behind the quality of IIMs. Taking notice, we have launched the sixth edition of "What If Not IIMs – B-School Survey 2015," where we have listed 101 B-Schools in the country, which are giving IIMs a run for their money. Many of them are relatively new as compared to IIMs, however, they are playing a significant role in creating entrepreneurs and innovative managers. The primary intention of doing this survey is to bring out the strengths of each college that include Academic excellence, Infrastructure, Industry Interface and Placements.

We also feature Sandip Foundation, a widely known education society from Nashik, Maharashtra for its services in education in realms of Engineering, Management, Science, Arts, Pharmacy, and Polytechnic Studies.
