IBS Hyderabad which is also known as ICFAI Business School was established in 1995, and has gained widespread recognition from the industry, academic circles and professional bodies. The institute is headed by Prof. S. Venkata Seshaiah which offers its students a two year Master in Business Administration/ Post Graduate Program in Management.

The courses offered in the program are practice oriented with emphasis placed on the application of principles, tools and concepts to meet challenges and problems faced in the corporate world. The MBA/ PGPM program allows students to gain a managerial perspective in formulating and implementing corporate strategy and thus also be able to learn and take decisions critically and analytically. IBS utilizes Case Teaching Methodology which has improved the learning curve of students and they have been able to perform better.

The institute also provides students the opportunity to take part in a Summer Internship Program which forms an important component of education and fills the void between the industry and academic worlds. Students are able to acquire social and technical skills by taking part in the Summer Internship Program which enhances their opportunities to get placed.

IBS Hyderabad which is located on a 91 acre lush green campus has been able to place all of its students with companies such as DE Shaw, Mahindra Satyam, Wipro, Cognizant, ICICI and Karvy.
