Located in Indore, Shri Vaishnav Institute of Management was started by the Shri Vaishnav Educational and Charitable Trust in the year 1987. Over the past decade, the institute has realized the importance of providing management education and started the MBA programs. Apart from the regular MBA program, the institute, which is affiliated to Devi Ahilya University
also known as Indore University offers students MBA in Financial Administration and MBA in Advertising & Public Relation. The regular MBA program presents the students with the option to dual specialize in any two areas of the four, which are Marketing, Finance, HR and System.

The institute trains students with skills that are relevant to the industry and hence companies such as Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, HSBC Bank, Oracle India, Reliance Communications, Airtel, Vodafone, Ranbaxy and many others visit the campus for the recruitment. The students are trained to improve their soft skills through the personality development training programs. Furthermore, there is constant interaction with the corporate organizations in the form of corporate guest lectures, industrial visits and others. The students are also required to participate in mandatory summer internships, which boost their skill sets tremendously which the industry has been impressed with.
