When we buy a gadget we always keep in mind that it should be user friendly. As stated before, taking only the size into consideration, we have 3 sizes to choose from 5-inch, 7-inch and 10-inch tablets. The 5-inch tablets are the perfect to carry, but using a 5-inch tablet can be irritating as you need to do lot of scrolling and zooming to view the text clearly in that comparatively small screen. But that isn’t the case with a 10-inch tablet; users almost never have to scroll or zoom to view the text, but its size gives a trade-off with portability.

Now think about 7-inch tablets. It is convenient to use and overcomes most of the drawback posed by a 5-inch and a 10-inch tablet. It has a large enough screen to view and navigate through the pages easily. Its size lends itself perfectly to be held by one hand and access its functions at the same time.

So this size provides users with is less zooming when compared to 5-inch ones and not to be cumbersome to carry around when we take 10-inch ones in to account. The educational market is keener on a 7-inch tablets owing all the advantages it gives its users.

Google and Apple have finally realized the important of a 7-inch tablet. Google already launched its Nexus tablet which is a 7-inch tablet. And Apple has finally decided to ignore Steve Jobs view on 7-inch tablets and if rumors are to be believed the iPad Mini would be launched by the end of this year.
