Transcend unveils 64GB USB flash drives

New Delhi: Transcend, the memory module maker, has launched a new series of USB flash drives capable of storing 64GB worth memory. The models in the series include the JetFlash 600 and JetFlash 620 flash drives. They are priced at 10,850 and come with a lifetime warranty. The USB drives have read speeds of up to 32MB/s and write speed of up to 18MB/s. The transfer time of the flash drives is minimal, thereby allows transferring large amounts of data such as music, digital photos and even Full HD videos. The JetFlash 620 comes with Transcend's JetFlash SecureDrive software that safeguards users' confidential data by creating a private, password-protected area on their JetFlash drive. Both the models com in the capacities of 4GB, 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB. The mobile productivity of the flash drives can be increased if users download and install Transcend's free JetFlash Elite data management tools. Gordon Wu, Regional Head, SARRC Transcend said, "It is hard to imagine how many files and data one can operate in this age of information explosion.
