Tecno has launched a new phone in India, expanding its Pova Series with the Tecno Pova Curve 5G. The latest device comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate processor, a 64-megapixel primary camera, and an IP64-certified build. With a large 5,500mAh battery, it also features 45W fast charging. Here's all you need to know about this phone.

Tecno Pova Curve 5G India price and availability

The Tecno Pova Curve 5G will be priced at a starting price of Rs 15,999 for the lowest model with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity, which will be retailing exclusively on Flipkart. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage capacity model is priced at 16,999 and will also be retailed through offline stores. The device will be available in three colours of Geek Black, Magic Silver, and Neon Cyan, with the sales commencing on June 5.

The Tecno Pova Curve 5G comes with a beautiful 6.78-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,436 pixels) curved AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 1,300 nits. The device's screen is Gorilla Glass 5-protected. Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Ultimate SoC, the device is available with up to 8GB of RAM, and 128GB of inbuilt storage, which can be virtually expanded to 16GB via unused storage.

At the back, the phone boasts an AI-based dual camera system headed by a 64-megapixel Sony sensor. For portraits and video calls, there is a 13-megapixel camera at the front. The phone has a starship-inspired design.

On the connectivity front, Tecno Pova Curve 5G has Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and Bluetooth 5.4. It offers stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos capabilities and maintains its IP64-rated strength. With Tecno's own voice assistant, Ella, pre-installed, the phone comes with a range of AI-driven capabilities like AI Voiceprint Suppression, AI Auto Call Answering, and an AI Call Assistant, providing stress-free connectivity even in areas with zero or poor signals courtesy of its Intelligent Signal Hub System.

Coming with a relatively large 5,500mAh battery, Tecno says that its fast charging technology can recharge the battery from 0 to 100 percent in a mere 45 minutes. With a thickness of 7.45mm, Tecno Pova Curve 5G is positioned as India's slimmest curved phone with such a large battery.
