Specifications Of Nokia's First Ever Tablet Leaks

Bangalore: Nokia has been in the process of developing a new tablet ’Nokia RX-114’ as an attempt to stand firm in the competitive market. The device is claimed to run on windows RT platform. According to the specifications leaked through GFXBench,a bench mark suit; the device  will sport a Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset, supported by Adreno 330Graphic Processor Unit. The model is expected to hit the market by late August or early September. Adduplex a website on mobile gadgets had earlier notified about another tablet by the same manufacturer, ‘Nokia RX-108’, which leads to the conclusion that there are two in the pipe line.

There have been past reports on a Chinese micrblogging site which showed a tablet display screen with Nokia logo. It seemed much similar to that of iPad Mini and Nexus 7. The screen had a super-thin black bezel around the screen and a home button located below. At the top left side portion is a camera for video calling and a windows icon on the home button.

Since Windows RT tablets have poor market, many raise their eye brows on the release of the model. The very reason had lead many manufactures to drop their plans on developing gadgets running on the same platform.
