Six Android Appliances Set To Rule The Kitchen

# 4 LG SmartThinQ washer and dryer

The washer and dryer of this particular appliance can be operated from the same Android app. It has an advantage of starting and stopping the washer and dryer remotely. But unfortunately, the clothes cannot be moved from one to the other using an app. The appliance is heavily skinned so that the 7-inch tablet can be used only to change modes and diagnostics.

# 3 HiSense Android Fridge

Chinese manufacturer, HiSense’s booth in CES featured a fridge running Android 3.2. The screen of the fridge lets you a run a bunch of custom apps, which also includes the tracking of the freshness of the food, once verified with a bar-code scanner built into the door. It also runs on a diet app, grocery list, notepad and a terrific power management app which lets you know the energy used by the fridge and schedule it to run its compressor at cheaper times.
