Sharp Corporation launches Opera Mini enabled handsets in India


Mumbai: Sharp Corporation, a manufacturer of electronic products from Japan, has launched two Opera Mini enabled handsets, Sharp SH0037D and Sharp SH6017D, for Indian users. With over 80 million users, Opera Mini is said to be the world's most widely used mobile browser. It can display web pages faster than ever by using Opera's original rendering engine and server-side data compression technology. Opera Mini delivers content with the use of user-friendly functions, such as tabs, URL auto-complete and highlights keywords, which enables users to find the information they are looking for easier and faster on mobile screens.
