Samsung S6 Set For March Release, To Be Unveiled In MWC

Furthermore, it is being speculated that Samsung Electronics plans to use its own Exynos 7 in its new Galaxy S6 rather than using Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 due to the reports of overheating in its Galaxy S5.

While Samsung may be using Exynos 7 for Galaxy S6, China based Xiaomi also plans to see alternate solution to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon due to the reports of overheating. Xiaomi is partnering with another Integrated Circuit designing company - Leadcore Technology.

In terms of specs, Samsung Galaxy S6 is reported to have an Ultra HD 4K display, 4GB RAM and 20MP camera. The Galaxy S6 is said to be based on 64-bit Exynos 7 or Snapdragon 810. The display may be 5.3 inches and with a 5MP front camera. To support such high end hardware configuration, Samsung may use more than 3000 mAh battery.
