Samsung has unveiled the latest addition to the wearable family, the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, which was launched. The new wireless earbuds feature a new blade-inspired design, active noise cancellation (ANC), and an array of Galaxy AI-empowered features designed to enhance both sound performance and ease of use.
Each earbud has a weight of only 5 grams and comes with a 53 mAh battery, whereas the charging case is equipped with a 515 mAh battery and has an approximate weight of 41.8 grams. The Buds 3 FE in one charge will last a maximum of six hours when ANC is active and 8.5 hours when ANC is not active. When paired with the charging case, users can enjoy a maximum of 24 hours of listening with active noise cancellation and up to 30 hours without it. The earbuds are IP54 rated too, offering water and dust resistance, making them ideal for daily use and exercise outdoors.
Connectivity is managed by Bluetooth 5.4, including support for Samsung's Seamless Codec (SSC) along with AAC and SBC codecs. Samsung has also added so-called 'crystal clear call technology' which applies a pre-trained machine learning model to identify the user's voice in the foreground from background noise. This guarantees more stable conversations in noisy or busy locations.

The Galaxy Buds 3 FE design brings pinch-to-command and swipe-to-control for altering volume. The charging dock features a pairing button to facilitate an easy transition between various Galaxy devices. There is also an Auto Switch feature that detects audio activity and automatically switches connections.
The company has also incorporated its Galaxy AI ecosystem, allowing users to command the earbuds with voice. A highlight feature is the capability of the earbuds to pair with the Galaxy AI Interpreter smartphone app. Users can listen to foreign language lectures or even get real-time conversations translated straight into the earbuds.
Talking about the launch, a Samsung spokesperson added, "The Galaxy Buds 3 FE marry great sound, AI-powered smart capabilities, and a slim new design to provide a hearing experience that responds to our users' daily needs whether they are on a call, listening to music, or overseas". The Galaxy Buds 3 FE will go on sale in India from September 5, although Samsung hasn't revealed the official price yet.
