Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Launch Scheduled Next Week in India

Samsung on Thursday (May 8, 2025) officially announced the launch of Galaxy S25 Edge in India and international markets. The new Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is part of the recently launched Galaxy S25 series comprising phones such as Galaxy S25 Ultra, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25.

With the Galaxy S25 Edge, the South Korean electronics giant wants to make a push for a lightweight and compact design phone that is loaded with gen AI capability.

The newest member of the Galaxy S family is a formidable AI friend and an engineering masterpiece, combining best-in-class performance with best-in-class portability," stated Samsung.

Samsung has revealed to implement the 200 MP primary camera in Galaxy S25 Edge, which appears in Galaxy S25 Ultra too. It will utilize AI to provide consumers with different generative items using the lens.

It is anticipated that Galaxy S25 Edge will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite processor with a maximum of 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. One UI 7.0 is expected to be based on Android 15 out of the box.

Samsung is reported to include a 5,000 mAh battery in the Galaxy S25 Edge with support for charging up to 25 W.

Galaxy S25 Edge could feature a 6.5 inch AMOLED screen with 2,600 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate.

Samsung will release the Galaxy S25 Edge on May 13 at 5:30 AM in India. As a high-end phone, the Galaxy S25 Edge is likely to come with a 90k and above price range.
