Samsung Launches 5.7-Inch QHD Display Galaxy Note 5 in India

BENGALURU: Samsung launched its latest smartphone, the Galaxy Note 5 in India, at an event in New Delhi. The phone is will cost
53,900 for the 32GB model, and
59,900 for the 64GB model, which will be available in the market for sale form September 20 and pre-orders are open from Monday, reports NDTV.
The latest Note device from the Samsung features a 5.7-inch QHD super AMOLED display. The 4 GB RAM phone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Exynos 7420 SoC and with 3000mAh battery. The Galaxy Note 5 features a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and optical image stabilization, apart from a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The camera app can be opened with a double tap on the home button, which is protected with the fingerprint sensor. A Live Broadcast feature is the new addition to Note 5. It runs in Android 5.1 Lollipop and has the fastest charging technology in which the phone gets a full charge in about 90 minutes and through wireless charging within 120 minutes.
It will be available in Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum, and Silver Titanium color variants. Samsung will also be providing 100GB of OneDrive cloud storage for free. Those consumers that pre-book the smartphone will also get a free wireless charger, and a one-time screen replacement.
