RIM to lauch BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 in India

Bangalore: The Canadian handset maker, Research In Motion (RIM) will be launching its flagship Smartphone BlackBerry Bold Touch 9900 in India this August. This handset has architectural wonder, sporting a 2.8-inch VGA capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 640x480 and 287ppi, the device is powered with Blackberry OS 7, the latest version of the RIM's OS.
Furnished with a fast and receptive touchscreen, the device approaches with amalgamated 5 mega-pixel camera, a enhanced voice-enabled Universal Search, java and Near Field Communication (NFC) support. An 8GB memory for data storage with additional 32GB of SDHC cards for memory extension is also offered.
BlackBerry Bold 9900 launch has been delayed several times. It was expected to hit the markets very before. Bold 9900 will mark the largest global launching in RIMs market history. The device will be launched in India and in UK later. This device is available in black color and RIM is planning to launch its white version this year October. The price of the device is marked at
32,500 with one and half year warranty. Bold 9900s release was planned this year with other seven new BlackBerry Smartphones. The tight competition with Apple and Google, the company is totally dependent on Bold 9900 as RIM hopes to increase its market shares which has been fading and losing its reputation.
