Oppo to Launch Reno 11 Series Smartphones in India
Oppo is gearing up to introduce its latest Reno series smartphones in India. The company has officially announced the launch of the Oppo Reno 11 series in the country this January. The launch event, showcasing the Oppo Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro smartphones, will be live-streamed on the company's official social media channels.
Both models within the Oppo Reno 11 series showcase curved OLED displays supporting a 120Hz refresh rate, but they differ in size and resolution. The Oppo Reno 11 Pro 5G boasts a 6.74-inch screen with 1.5K resolution, while the more affordable standard model features a 6.7-inch Full HD+ display. Notably, the Pro variant offers a higher peak brightness of 1600 nits compared to the 950 nits provided by the vanilla Reno 11 model.
Powering the Oppo Reno 11 Pro is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip, while the Reno 11 is driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset. Both devices boast a maximum of 12GB RAM and come with ample storage options of up to 512GB. Each device features a triple rear camera arrangement, consisting of a 50MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 32MP telephoto unit. It's important to highlight that the sensors used in each model vary. Moreover, both smartphones come with a 32MP front-facing camera for capturing selfies and facilitating video calls.
In terms of battery capacity, the Pro variant has a slightly larger 4800mAh battery compared to the vanilla model's 4700mAh, although it supports slower 67W fast charging, whereas the Reno 11 features faster 80W fast charging. Both smartphones operate on the latest ColorOS 14 skin based on Android 14.
