The imminent launch of the Poco X6 series in India has been teased, with expectations that the lineup will comprise the Poco X6 and the Poco X6 Pro, succeeding the previous Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro models. Certification site sightings have revealed the design, color choices, and various essential specifications of these upcoming handsets. The official launch date of the Poco X6 series in India has been confirmed through a banner on Flipkart.
According to a Flipkart banner visible on its mobile app, the unveiling of the Poco X6 series in India is scheduled for January 11. The poster affirms that the Poco X6 models will be exclusively available for purchase in the country through Flipkart. Recent reports indicate that the base Poco X6 is expected to be equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, coupled with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 onboard storage. The triple rear camera setup on the Poco X6 is rumored to consist of a 64-megapixel primary sensor, a 13-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel shooter.
The Poco X6 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to get a MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra. The handset is said to be a rebranded Redmi K70E. If it is indeed a rebranded K70E and expected to offer up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage. The Poco X6 lineup has previously been confirmed to introduce India's first MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra-powered smartphone. It could feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED 1.5K LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
In terms of camera specifications, the Poco X6 Pro is anticipated to feature a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 67-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) support, an 8-megapixel sensor paired with an ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. The higher-tier model is also rumored to come equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 67W wired fast charging. Both the Poco X6 and Poco X6 Pro are reported to be rebranded versions of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi K70E.
