ZTE's sub-brand, Nubia, has unveiled its latest flagship, the Nubia Z60 Ultra, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The smartphone boasts a 6.8-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is equipped with a robust 6,000mAh battery. Featuring an IP68-rated build, the device ensures water and dust resistance. The camera setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor among its triple rear cameras. Available in two color variants, the Nubia Z60 Ultra offers flexibility with three RAM and storage configurations.
The Nubia Z60 Ultra is available at a starting price of $599 for the base model, featuring 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage is priced at $649, while the top-tier version, equipped with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, comes in at $779. The smartphone is offered in two elegant colors, Black and Silver. Running on the Android 14-based MyOS14 operating system, the Nubia Z60 Ultra features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,116x2,480 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 400ppi pixel density, and complete coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut. Under the hood, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
The Nubia Z60 Ultra is equipped with a triple rear camera system, led by a 50-megapixel 35mm Sony IMX800 sensor featuring OIS and an f/1.59 aperture. Additionally, the camera setup comprises a 50-megapixel 18mm wide-angle sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and autofocus, along with a 64-megapixel 85mm telephoto sensor with OIS. Handling selfies and video calls is a 12-megapixel under-display camera.
The Nubia Z60 Ultra packs up to 512GB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.4, dual GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and QZSS. It also features speakers with DTS HD sound. Sensors on board include an ambient light sensor, e-compass, sensor, gyroscope, infrared remote control, and proximity sensor. The phone also includes an in-display fingerprint sensor for authentication.
