NEC announces Android 2.2 powered netbook

Bangalore: NEC,announced its first Android 2.2 powered Life Touch Note netbook.
The device has a 7-inch touchscreen display and a resolution of 800x480. The device has features like GPS sensor, an accelerometer and NVIDIA's Tegra 2 CPU onboard.
Other attributes include an SDHC memory card 802.11b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1 version, and USB 2.0 port. It comes with a 2MP camera and has a built-in storage of 8GB. The device is said to have a battery life of 9 hours.
It will come in three models- Wi-Fi with 3G and 8GB of built-in storage, a Wi-Fi only version and a Wi-Fi only version with 4GB of memory. It is most likely to come in colours like chocolate brown, piano black and red.
The netbook will hit Japan market by March. The W-Fi only version of the netbook is likely to cost $540 and the Lift Touch note netbook's 3G enabled version of $660.
