Microsoft has been tight lipped about the battery life. All we know about the batteries are their type. The Surface Tablet running on Windows RT will have a 31.5 W-h battery and are available for 32GB and 64GB tablets and the Windows 8 Pro version will have 42W-h battery which will be configurable to 64GB and 128GB.
