LG unzips 'Cookie Zip' for Indian market at

New Delhi: LG expanded its range of Cookie phones with the launch of the latest 'Cookie Zip' or LG 510 for the Indian market. The Cookie Zip is priced at 
8,299 and is targeted at CDMA users.
The Cookie Zip has a 3-inch touch screen display and a 2MP camera. The new phones boasts of a faster download speed and Live TV using the EVDO (Evolution Data Optimized) platform. Its 900Mah battery gives a talk time of five hours and over 150 hours of standby time.
The phone comes with an internal memory of 72MB and can be expanded up to 4GB. Among its key features are Bluetooth 2.2, MP3 Player, voice recording, FM radio, video messaging, video streaming, caller tunes, song ID and push to talk.
"The Cookie Zip promises ultimate experience for the CDMA enthusiast. As the name suggests, the phone will enable our young mobile users to have an unordinary fun experience. It delivers all the essentials in communication, multimedia and entertainment in a delightfully compact form and enables us to realize how much more out there are we could do with the faster network by EVDO; 3G like technology in CDMA," said Sudhin Mathur, Business Group Head, Mobile Communications, LG Electronics India.
The LG Cookie Zip is pre-installed with apps like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter and Orkut.
With a scarcity of phones having good features on CDMA platform, the Cookie Zip looks like a good option.
