LG initiates the first salvo among smartphones

NEW DELHI: Introducing the dual core processor phone, by LG India, with the flagship Android phone Optimus 2X, containing Nvidia's Tegra 2 and Nvidia's dual core processor, which is also to be launched in the third week of April among the smartphones.
The demand for smartphones will probably rise with the launch of new products said,Siddharth Neri,a Cyber Media Research analyst.LG has implemented an idea of launching a phone with dual-core and the ability to perform similar tasks to that of a computer like any superphone.
Competitively,there will also be the launch of few flagship phones by Sony Ericsson very soon. Also on April 13, flagship phones by Samsung will be launched in India.
The demand for the smartphones has risen up by 5.7percent by 2011.The global launch of Optimus X2 coincides with the LG India launch and also Optimus black; with a sleek smartphone features, will be available by 15 May in India.
The global head from LG, discussed about the introduction of upcoming products and their launch in India very soon. Considering the huge demand for the smartphones in India, LG has decided to meet the demands and satisfy its customers in India further, after the launch of the X2.
Eventually, Chopra from LG also told that they're also looking forward to increase their productivity by 10percent by the end of this year and expecting their revenue to hike up from smart phones.
