Lenovo's Affordable Laptop Ideapad 100S Launched at 14,999

BENGALURU: If you are planning to buy a Laptop with decent specs but don’t want to spend too much money then Lenovo’s Ideapad 100S can be a good choice. Lenovo has again clobbered the Indian laptop market with the launch of Ideapad 100S laptop at an exciting end user price of 14,999, reports by tech2.

Lenovo’s flagship laptop runs on latest Windows 10 operating system and packs a quad-core Intel Atom Z3735F processor with a clock speed of up to 1.83 GHz and an embedded Intel HD on board graphic card. Surprisingly, it has a 32 GB of built-in flash storage with a microSD card support for further storage expansion and 2 GB of DDR3L RAM clocking at 1600MHz frequency. The exclusive Lenovo Ideapad 100S is up for grabs via Snapdeal.

Ideapad 100S is light weight laptop of 1 kg and just 0.7 inch thin which can be a perfect companion for on-the-go users. Lenovo claims to offer 8 hours of nonstop usage without charging powered with a 2-Cell 39 Whr battery.

The laptop offers a HD display of resolution 1355 x 768 pixels in an 11.6 inch screen size. In terms of connectivity the laptop features –– Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. It has two USB 2.0 ports and an HDMI port. For audio support it features headphone and microphone jack with a Dolby Advanced Audio. It has a 0.3 MP webcam and a standard keyboard.

Lenovo Ideapad 100S is currently available in a silver color variant. The purchase package includes 1-year onsite warranty and 1-year subscription to Microsoft Office 365 Personal that comes up with full installations of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and more.

Lenovo introduced the concept of Ideapad 100S at IFA 2015 during last year, in tandem with other Ideapad and Yoga laptops and convertibles. The current version released in India has different specifications in comparison to the unfolded product at IFA 2015.
