Lenovo launches a new series of PCs in India

Bangalore: Highlighting superior performance, mobility and cutting-edge features, Lenovo India has introduced a range of high-performance PCs for 2011 based on 2nd-generation Intel Core Processors. The latest series include new version IdeaPad Z570, Lenovo G570, and ThinkPads L420 and T420.
With this launch, Lenovo becomes one of the first PC makers in India to introduce PCs powered by Intel's "Huron River" platform. As per the company, the 2nd-Generation Intel Core Processors offer greater efficiency and power management. These processors, combined with the new graphics technology provide enhanced display, improve multi-tasking and enable faster multimedia processing.
Rajesh Thadani, Director - Consumer Business Unit, HSB, Lenovo India, said, "Our new notebooks offer superior features such as the Accu type keyboard, Brush finish metallic looks, HD LED Backlit screen, higher-capacity HDD (640 GB capacity) HD to our customers in India." "The new Lenovo G470 has a solid, full-metal keyboard, which gives a unique key-touch experience. The screen is 3-D enabled and the 2G Intel core processors deliver greater efficiency and power management. To top it all, it weighs less than just 3 lbs," he said.
The Z series notebooks have been further enhanced with features such as a full metal brush finish, HD Backlit LED, Lenovo Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows 7 to deliver faster boot-up and shutdown times, faster application performance, efficient power and performance management, all-day battery life, enterprise management and robust security features, as well as a superior web conferencing capabilities.
