At the Rio Olympics, Visa the electronic payments company has introduced the first-of-a-kind NFC-enabled wearable ring. This ring can be used for purchasing by simply tapping it at any NFC-capable payment terminals. The gadget which does not require a battery and is water-resistant till the depth of 50 meters uses a secure microchip with an embedded NFC antenna enabling contactless payment capabilities.
