Kobian unveils Mercury D800 desktop mobile


New Delhi: Kobian has released the Mercury D800 mobile phone, which the company claims is a combination of mobile and desktop phone. The Mercury D800, which has been launched in MidEast and Africe, is priced at 5,625 for the Indian market. The Mercury D800 comes with features like 1.3MP camera, wireless FM, MP3/MP4 media player. The dual SIM phone has a 2.2 inch touch screen LCD display and its memory can be expanded by microSD card to 4GB. Powered by a 4100mAh battery, the phone gives a talk time of 16 hours and a standby time of 60 days. The Mercury D800 serves the dual purpose of being used as a desktop and a mobile phone for the home and SOHO users. For office users it can serve as one set which stores the contacts of all clients at one place as the phone allows a phonebook of 2000 address. For home users, it replaces the landline- wired or cordless phones.
