A6 Chip Processor

No matter how many applications and new features you add to a smartphone; if the processor is slow or outdated it doesn’t help. Apple and many other manufactures have realized this and they give a lot of emphasis on the processor.

The new iPhone comes with a new processor; ARM –Apple A6. According to the company the A6 Chip processor is twice as fast as the previous A5 chip. It even delivers double the graphic than its predecessor.

Even though the processor promises to deliver faster performances it does not do so at the expense of the battery life of the phone. Apple has assured its users that the battery has been improved.

At the unveiling of the new iPhone, Tim Cook suggested that that a smaller transistor size which will make the chip 22 percent smaller than the A5.Apart from this Apple hasn’t given us numbers as to what will be the speed of the chip. The moment the numbers are out then only we will be able to determine how much faster the new chip will be in comparison to its predecessors.
