Bangalore: Infibeam has launched its new EBook reader "Infibeam Pi2" (read as the Infibeam "Pi - square"), the successor to its earlier EBook reader Pi. The upgraded version of the Pi has started shipping on Tuesday.
Infibeam Pi2 feature Wifi connectivity, web browser and a touch screen. Thanks to the Wifi connectivity, users will be able to and download e-books over the device, without connecting to a PC. The new device comes loaded with 100 free e-books.
Infibeam offers a collection of more than 5 lakh e-books on its Web store. The company has tie-ups with major publishers like McGraw Hill, Penguin and Pearson. In addition, it also has tie-ups with a large number of independent authors and manages rights for their books as well.
Infibeam will ship Pi free across India. The new ebook reader is priced at
