India is soon to acquire Sony's S1 and S2 tablets


Bangalore: Sony is ready to unveil its first Andriod tablets S1 and S2 in India by next month. You can catch the glimpse of the two tablets featured in an awesome video on Sony India's official website. Sony India plans to offer the S1 and S2 for about 29,000 ($640) each, according to Tabletslaunch. It would be a 16 GB WiFi only version of one of the tablet. Both devices will sport Android Honeycomb, a custom Sony UI, dual-core processors, and lots of other attractive features. The devices are expected to hit the market next month, and Idea is likely to grab the deal and may become available to Indian customers, with some subsidized pricing model or with exclusive 3G plan. The devices are expected to launch in Europe by early September and it may follow the Indian market soon after the Europe launch.
