iPhone 4 and 4S Gets a Price Cut; Now Affordable

Bangalore: As expected, the launch of the iPhone 5 did bring about change in the prices of iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S.  Apple hasn’t announced an official date for the release of iPhone 5 in India, though the tentative dates for the release of the new iPhone is November 2012 around Diwali time.

If you are looking to buy an iPhone, there has been no better time than now. Apple has priced the iPhone 4S at 41,500 less by 3,000 and the iPhone 4 8GB costs just 28,500. The iPhone 4 previously cost 37,000. Apple has discontinued the manufacturing of earlier model iPhone 3GS.

The basic model of the new iPhone 5 will be around 50,000 which will make it the most expensive phone in the market at the moment.

So now the question that arises in most of the buyers’ mind is that is iPhone 5 worth it? If you have the money the answer would be yes. But the new iPhone iOS maps have been a disappointment and the Apple’s CEO Tim Cook has apologized for the same. Along with the maps, a lot of users worldwide have found that the screen gets scratched easily when compared to the previous iPhones. The iPhone 5 works only on a nano SIM and none of the service providers in India manufacture nano SIMs. So this will definitely be a problem for the Indian customer.

Apple has changed the connector, so this means that the user will have to wait for manufactures to manufacture new connectors or they will have to use a mediator so that the old accessories can be used for the new iPhone 5.

Keeping all this in mind along with the price slash in the previous generation iPhones, it’s now up to the customer to make the decision as to which iPhone to buy!
