HMD Launches Touch 4G Hybrid Phone at Rs 3,999

HMD Global has entered India’s mobile market with the Touch 4G, a device that blends the simplicity of feature phones with select smartphone capabilities. Positioned as a hybrid phone, it brings messaging, video calling, and access to cloud based apps, all at an affordable Rs 3,999.
Available now on HMD’s official website, select e-commerce platforms, and retail stores, the Touch 4G comes preloaded with Express Chat, allowing users to send text, voice notes, and make video calls to users on Android and iOS. It also supports cloud hosted browser shortcuts for services like cricket scores, news updates, weather, and includes HTML5 games such as Tetris and Sudoku.
On the hardware side, the Touch 4G sports a 3.2 inch touch display, and is powered by a 1,950 mAh battery with USB-C charging. For cameras, it features a 2 MP rear shooter and a VGA front camera to support video calls. Other features include Bluetooth file sharing, Wi-Fi and hotspot support, FM radio (wired & wireless), call recording, MP3 playback, and a dedicated ICE (In Case of Emergency) button, pressing it thrice or holding it gives quick access to emergency calls and Express Chat.
