Have you Seen the Future? It's Made of Glass!
MIT needs Anti-fogging, Self-cleaning, Glare-free Glass:
Smartphone and tablet displays under bright light or sun light are still a pain. The main reason for this is the shiny nature of glass; the same nature also makes it less efficient to produce power from solar energy.
Recently MIT research has solved this glare problem of glass by building a surface pattern made of nano-scale cones of glass. This new breed of glass is smudge proof, glare free and is said to be multifunctional. These glasses also have an amazing feature; its water deflecting technology makes it self-cleaning.
