Dax Networks enters into IP surveillance with new surveillance solutions

Chennai: Dax Networks has forayed into the IP surveillance area by launching a range of IP network video surveillance solutions in India. The solutions allow enterprises to constantly monitor their businesses at any time from any place in the world. Dax is offering more than 50 models of IP cameras under its new venture. The cameras are both cost effective and suited for a wide range of applications. The IP solutions by Dax can be installed outdoors without fear of damage from rain or dust. They can be powered and connected to the network through a single ethernet cable. The cameras offer flexibility and security thanks to the infra red LEDs present in them. The quality of the recorded video is enhanced by the combination of MPEG4 and H.264 video compression, coupled with powerful lens. The IP products are categorized under four areas: Fixed IP Cameras, Fixed Dome Cameras, PTZ Cameras and High Speed Dome Cameras. The first one, Fixed IP Cameras, help in monitoring specific area or direction, making them ideal for indoor applications. Fixed Dome cameras help in providing surveillance for both indoor and outdoor applications, monitoring wider areas and zooming in on specific individuals, objects and activity. The third kind, as the name goes, allows users to control the pan, tilt, and zoom functions. The High Speed Dome cameras can pan up to 360 degrees, thereby supporting continuous surveillance operation. The IP cameras ship with three years warranty and give online support to customers.
