CES 2014: Wearable Tech Steals the Show


Tech giants like LG, Intel and Sony along with smaller companies like Pebble are some other players that are making fitness trackers under the wearable tech category.

Intel’s CEO Brian Krzanich swanked several new wearable devices developed by the company, that included smart watch, smart earbuds and a smart earphone headset called Jarvis. Along with this comes a charging device that appears like a ‘bowl’, which can hold gadgets these in when they require powering back up.

Intel’s competitor Sony’s core fitness tracking wearable machines will soon be on sale this spring. Along with that, LG's new Lifeband Touch, which is also at CES, will enter the market at nearly the same time as Sony. Considering smartwatches, MetaWatch’s new smartwatches are posing to be the answer to the regular plastic and nerdy smartwatches that are flooding the market off late.
