4. Super-Zoom Compact Cameras
Pros: Superzoom cameras offer the longest zoom range and also have all the likely features of digital SLR cameras. They come with very high optical zoom range, manual controls, excellent image stabilization and better lens than standard point-and-shoot camers.
Cons: Bulkier than point-and-shoot camera, expensive than fixed lens or basic point-and-shoot camera and not so good aperture.
These cameras are ideal for the amateur and professional photographers, who don’t want to burn their pocket or is not interested in the complexity of digital SLR. They are bigger than typical compact cameras and offers long lens with extra handgrip. Beside the longer zoom capacity these cameras are also equipped with advanced shooting modes; full manual controls and also captures images in RAW formats.
But superzoom or mega zoom cameras don’t have a lens swapping facility like DSLR or mirrorless cameras rather it comes with a fixed lens which has a capacity for longer zoom.
