Buffalo updates its NAS system with LinkStation Pro LS-VL

Bangalore: Buffalo, the storage solutions provider, has launched the LinkStation Pro LS-VL series network storage, thereby expanding its network attached storage line-up. The latest storage solution from the house of Buffalo is available in two capacities - 1TB (LS-V1.0TL) and 2TB (LS-V2.0TL); priced at
12,500 and
16,500 respectively. Both ship with a warranty of three years.
The LinkStation Pro LS-VL runs on a 1.6 GHz processor offering maximum transfer speeds up to 76 MBps. It allows you to store or back-up files from multiple PCs, laptops or Mac computers in one central location. The free web access lets users to share content or download apps.
The device allows direct copying of content and gives energy consumption option by regulating the power usage of LinkStation at predetermined times and shutting the unit down. It increases file transfer rates by 35 percent, thereby enhancing the PC performance.
Susumu Kobayashi, Country Head, Buffalo said, "Simply plug it into any network Ethernet port or into the back of your wireless router and instantly access it on any networked computer in your house."
