This is the second generation model of Samsung's series 9 laptops. The company claims it is 37 percent thinner and 181 grams lighter than the first generation series 9 models and both 13 and 15 inch models has an aluminum body.

The device is powered by 1.6 GHz Intel i5 processor, Intel HD 3000 graphics card, 128 GB SSD and runs on Windows 7 operating system. Both 13 and 15 inch models have 1600x900 screen resolutions, 500 GB of hard disk, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, webcam, USB, built in SD card reader and HDMI port. The 13 inch model has 4 GB of RAM weighting just 1.13 kilograms and the 15 inch model comes with 8 GB of RAM.
