Bangalore: BenQ has unveiled its 23.6-inch 3D LED Gaming Monitor XL2410T in India, the first 3D LED backlit Full HD monitor to be launched in the country. The LED monitor with 16:9 Aspect Ratio, 2ms response time, 120Hz refresh rate, has been co-developed in association with Emil "HeatoN" Christensen and Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed, two professional gamers.
The XL2410T comes with a PBP (Picture-by-Picture) that allows the user to split the screen in half. Thus the user can view two different content streams from two different sources at the same time. The monitor has two hotkeys; one for changing the display mode - Full, Overscan, Aspect, 1:1; 17-inch; 19-inch; 19-inch Widescreen and 22-inch Widescreen, and the other one is Smart Scaling, which allows the users adjust picture size in original input to the screen's limit.
The monitor sports a full HD resolution of 1920x1080p. It has VGA, DVI-D and HDMI 1.3 on the connectivity front. It has also got height, tilt and orientation adjustments. BenQ XL2410T is available at a competitive price of
31,200 against the Alienware AW2310. The Alienware AW2310, based on CCFL backlighting technology, is the sole full HD 3D monitor available so far.
