Specifications: This is a 10.1-inch tablet which comes powered by a dual core 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor and runs on Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich. The screen has a 1280 x800 pixels resolution and the device sports 3 MP back camera, low-resolution front camera and 16 GB storage. The tablet costs around 35,000.

Strength: It is much cheaper, lighter and thinner than the iPad. The long narrow screen is much better to watch videos. There is a micro SD card slot to expand the memory. The tablet can also act as a universal remote control for an entertainment center.  A smaller form-factor (7-inch) version is also available in the name of Galaxy Tab 2 7.0.

Weakness: When it comes to screen resolution, it’s not as good as iPad. There is no wireless broadband yet and the Google Play Store is a bit less lucrative that iTunes.
