Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe Review


BENGALURU: Expanding its line of Smartphone range, Asus launched the new Zenfone 3 series. The new Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with - PureMetal technology offering a premium metal finish and precise build quality. At the front, the device looks similar to the Zenfone 3 while at the back it looks similar to every other new Asus handset.  

The device has a 5.7 inch sAMOLED FHD display offering 1920 by 1080 resolution, and protected with corning Gorilla Glass 4. It houses a 2.15 GHz quad core Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon processor coupled with 6 GB RAM offering stunning performance. For the users in need of large memory, the Zenfone 3 Deluxe comes with a huge 64GB internal memory expandable upto 128GB using MicroSD card.

Gazing at the camera, the smartphone features a 23MP back shooter offering f/2.0 aperture, laser/phase detection, autofocus, with a dual-LED flash. The device also has a front shooter offering an 8 MP, f/2.0, and1080p reolution.  Other connectivity options include Bluetooth version 4.2, GPS, NFC and USB version 3.0.

There’s no curved edge display, the bezels are not really razor thin. Even though placed in the premium segments, the device has no water resistance or dust resistance features. The device comes with stunning hardware specifications, but the overall look and feel does’t seems to be good enough for the premium price tag.
