Apple To Re-launch Outdated Iphone4 For 23,000 In India

Apple has a well established buying force in U.S. and Europe. Indian smartphone users are much budget savvy and are spoilt for choice in the higher end mobile segment. Reselling an outdated device for a higher price in India can spell doom for Apple as a product.

The company in the past had faced similar situations and successfully made use of the exchange schemes to bolster their sales. Based on their past experiences in similar circumstances, Apple has decided to go ahead with the idea and take the required calculated risk and go bullish in the Indian market by selling outdated phones at a higher price.

The mobile giant has even laid out down payment and EMI options for the phone to create easy monthly installments for users.

Apple as a brand does not want its pricing to come down and wants to remain as a high-end device only. Will this plan succeed or fail for Apple only time and Indian consumers will tell after the re-launch.
