Huawei Ventures Into Indian Market With Phablets And Smartphones


Huawei, the Chinese telecom brand, has ventured into the Indian mobile market by launching a series of smartphones and phablets ranging between 6499 to 17999. Ascend G700 and Ascend G610 constitutes the phablet segment while the smartphones constitute the Ascend Y511 and Y320.

Ascend G700 powered by a quad core processor with 2GB RAM which is expandable upto 32 GB via SD card. The phablet runs on Android 4.2 JellyBean, has a 5-inch HD screen (720 x 1280 pixels) and has a 2150mAH battery which keeps the phone running for a long time. The dual SIM phone, available in black, has an 8-megapixel rear and 1.3-megapixel front camera. The G700 is the most expensive of the lot priced at 17,999.

The Ascend G610 is the next in the phablet series with a 5-inch HD display. The smartphone runs on Android JellyBean 4.2, powered by a quad core processor with 1GB RAM.
