Apple Silently killed these 11 Ultimate products

Aperture and iPhoto:

Apple in June 2014 ditched Aperture iPhoto and replaced it with Photos. Although Aperture has been through fairly high profile updates over the years, iPhoto has stagnated badly of late, making it inevitable to do away Aperture and move on.

Apple is now completely focused on its new Photos. The current status of iPhoto is unknown, the new iOS 8 does not even let iPhoto open, which confirms the demise of Aperture.

White MacBook:

Yes, the most attractive piece of laptop MacBook has met with its end too. Along with releasing a flurry of it new products, MacBook Air and Mac Mini, Apple had quietly shut down the white MacBook to eternity.

MacBook launched in 2006, was on the lower end in the family of MacBooks. After the launch of MacBook Air, MacBooks were sold to schools and eventually discontinued.

iPad 3:

After the launch of iPad 4 in 2012, Apple promptly discontinued iPad 3 in October, the same year. Apple’s current tablet line up consists of iPad Mini, iPad 2, and the original iPad.

Surprisingly, iPad 3 is the only product to last just a few months. The fourth generation iPad had significant upgrades, which probably made iPad 3 redundant. To loyalists who shelled out as much as $599 for iPad 3, this was a major disappointment.
