4. iPhone 3G

The iPhone 3G was launched on June 9, 2008 at the WWDC 2008 at San Francisco. A year later when the new iPhone 3 GS was releases Apple immediately reduced the price of the phone by half thus making it the “Apple budget phone on offer”.

The iPhone 3G like the other Apple products also comes with components from Samsung. A lot of the internal hardware of the phone is similar to the original iPhone. The iPhone 3G continues to include the Samsung 32 bit RISC ARM11 650 MHz processor along with a PowerVR MBX Lite 3D GPU and a 128 MB of eDRAM as well.

The chip in the phone comes with an Apple logo but in reality it is basically a Samsung ARM processor.

So at every step of an Apple product’s existent it is backed by a Samsung related component. This is proved over and over again with each important product from Apple having at least one Samsung component.
