3. Samsung Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite

Samsung launched two new dual-SIM smartphones knowing the fact that the craze of dual-SIM handsets in India is still wild. The new Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite are meant to democratize the smartphone market in India.

The Galaxy S Duos ( 17,990) is powered by a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM 7227A processor with 768 MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It has a 4 inch TFT capacitive touch screen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, a 4 GB internal memory, a micoSD card slot to expand the memory up to 32 GB, 5 mega pixel camera, VGA front facing camera and a 1500 mAh battery.

The Galaxy Y Duos Lite (6,990) comes powered by a an 832 MHz processor and runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The phone sports a 2.8 inch QVGA Display touch screen, 4 GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB using microSD card, 2 mega pixel rear camera and has a 1200 mAh battery.
